Best Individual Blogger

Nominate your choice for Best Individual Blogger. The nominated author may write for an individual blog or be a member of a community or group site. Nominate by the bloggers name and primary site.

Update: Nominations are closed for all categories. Finalist will be announced the last week of December and voting will begins Jan. 4, 2010.

READ ALL OF THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW BEFORE NOMINATING!!!

To nominate a blog you need to leave a comment on this entry. Your comment should contain the name of the blog, the main URL for the blog, and (if possible) the URL for a RSS/Atom feed. For example:

Wizbang
http://wizbangblog.com/
http://feeds.wizbangblog.com/Wizbang

Unless you login via one of the supported authentication services (Facebook, Twitter, Google, Typekey, WordPress, OpenID, Yahoo, AIM, etc.) your comment will not be published immediately. Unauthenticated comments are placed in a moderation queue. Due to the volume of comments, it may take up to 24 hours for your comment to be approved. Comments from authenticated users will be published immediately.

Every so often our spam fighting service flags an authenticated comment as spam. If you put more than 5 URL's in a comment it will set off the junk filter. If your comment doesn't immediately appear that's probably what happened. We review and "unjunk" these comments as we are approving unauthenticated comments. We're sorry for the inconvenience.

Rules And FAQ's

  • You can nominate yourself, don't be shy.
  • The number of nominations a blog receives is irrelevant. One nomination is enough...
  • Rather than add a "me too" (i.e. multiple) nomination for a site in a category, please use the "+" icon to indicate your preference for nominees. The "+" ratings are one extra piece of information the finalist selection panel can use to help generate the finalist slates in each category.
  • Given the two previous items, we reserve the right to remove excessive comments (i.e. nominations) for the same site.
  • The nomination period is scheduled to end on Sunday, November 22, 2009, though we reserve the option to close nominations earlier or later.
  • Voting for selected finalists is scheduled to begin January 4, 2010. Finalists will be announced the week before voting begins.
  • Read The Nomination FAQ
  • Get Weblog Award logos to post on your site. Link to the nomination index or your favored category
  • Get technical help or ask questions at The Weblog Awards Discussion Forum on Facebook.
  • If you are linking to the contest consider using the nomination category archive, as it contains links to all of the nomination posts.

it's got politics, pop culture and business themes. it's personal, well written, funny and has an individual perspective. great for every day reading.

Intelligent, thoughtful, funny and more often than not, ahead of its time. Always gives your mind a poke.

Thoughtbasket: Definitely my go-to blog for intelligent, witty and exceptionally well-written insights on a variety of issues.

PAMELA GELLER AT ATLASSHRUGS.COM

SHE WORKS 24/6 ON HER BLOG. SHE ARRANGES CONFERENCES, VIDEO/AUDIO COVERAGE. INTERNATIONAL COVERAGE. THE WOMAN IS AMAZING. THERE IS NO OTHER BLOGGER IN AMERICA WHO IS AS DEVOTED PASSIONATELY TO THE CAUSE OF WAKING UP AMERICA. AND SHE DOES IT WITH INSIGHT AND WRY HUMOR.

SHE IS THE BEST BY FAR. NO ONE ELSE COMES CLOSE .

http://atlasshrugs2000.typepad.com/

Pamela Geller is a firebrand. Hits all the most important topics that are influencing our future. Total high energy. Thorough and consistent. Follows through on issues. Doesn't let things drop. (but could use a spell checker.)

Kathy Shaidle of www.fivefeetoffury.com

I'm the anti-Pammy. And I spell correctly most of the time, so there's that. BONUS: I'm also the anti-Malkin.

And I was fired from the "I am Sarah Palin" campaign.

I strenuously nominate Jeff Schreiber from America's Right. I don't know Jeff personally, but I do know that here's a guy who works a full-time job during the day, attends law school at night, is married and has a little daughter.

Yet he still manages to post informative material at America's Right several times per day. It's amazing.

I know someone who speaks with him fairly often, and he says that Jeff is nearly always tired, always has so many things on his plate.

This is an award for Best Individual Blogger ... Jeff should win it, hands down. He gives so much of himself each and every day.

i am deweyfromdetroit, and i approved this nomination.

thank you for your support.

I'd like to vote for Chally at Zero at the Bone for best individual blogger, please?

http://zeroatthebone.wordpress.com

I vote for Blue Gal, because I saw Pat Robertson in a dream.  He was flying over a diamond mine, and the spirit of Sarah Palin came upon him.  His plane suddenly turned into a helicoptor, and his Bible became an AK-47, and he started hunting Soylent Green candidates.  And then Ms. Langum blogged about it, and lo, the good pastor was condemned by Nielsen, and lost his voice.
http://bgalrstate.blogspot.com/

Definitely nominate Matthew LoFiego over at Military Officer's Association of America. His Battle of the Bilge blog tries to cross the political divide by clearing up the lies and rumors about the military and its relations with the White House.

One man show, all articles are his.

I nominate Carl Sherer for his informative blog that so clearly explains the situation and around the world.
